This website was launched in late November 2015, which marked the 100th Anniversary of Einstein arriving at his field equations.
The above equations are basic to Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. Welcome to our course to understand these equations. This website is for anyone who has a reasonably strong background in calculus up through partial derivatives and integration.
Our approach will take detours through peripheral topics at times. This roundabout approach serves two purposes: 1)it allows us to proceed slowly for undergraduates and 2)it affords us an opportunity to cover important foundational mathematical physics important to many areas of physics and engineering.
